E-mail: info@eduvox.de

EduVox is currently a development and research project in the field of child-friendly learning technology. A separate legal entity does not currently exist. The natural person named above is therefore responsible for the processing of personal data.

This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of inconsistencies, the German version should be treated as the authoritative version.

2. General information on data processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide the website, handle form submissions, evaluate voluntary feedback or contact individuals in connection with EduVox.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person, for example name, e-mail address, form information or technical access data.

Processing is carried out in particular on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent has been given, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a request relates to possible participation in a pilot phase, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where processing is necessary for the secure and reliable provision of the website.

3. Hosting and technical provision by IONOS

Our website is provided through IONOS. When the website is accessed, technically necessary data may be processed, in particular IP address, date and time of access, pages accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and server log files.

This data is processed in order to technically deliver the website, ensure stability and security, analyse errors and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and functional provision of the website.

Where IONOS processes personal data on our behalf, this is carried out in accordance with the legal requirements for processing on behalf of a controller under Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Feedback and pilot form

A form may be offered on our landing page through which interested persons can voluntarily submit information about EduVox, their expectations, possible use cases and their interest in a pilot phase.

Data processed

Depending on the design of the form, the following data may be processed in particular:

  • Name, if provided voluntarily
  • E-mail address for contact purposes
  • Role, for example parent, legal guardian, educator or other interested person
  • Age group of the child, if provided voluntarily
  • Interest in a possible pilot phase
  • Free-text information on expectations, needs, challenges and feedback
  • Time of form submission

Purposes of processing

The data is processed in order to evaluate feedback on EduVox, further develop the product, record interest in a possible pilot phase, respond to follow-up questions and contact interested persons.

Legal basis

The processing of form data is generally based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If you indicate interest in a pilot phase or submit a specific request, processing may additionally be based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Please do not submit sensitive health data, diagnoses, full names of children, photos or particularly personal family details through the form.

5. Information about children

EduVox is thematically related to child-friendly learning technology. However, the form is not intended to collect detailed personal data about children. If information about children is requested, it should be provided as sparingly as possible, for example only by selecting an age group.

We expressly ask that no full names of children, dates of birth, health data, diagnoses or photos of children be submitted through the form.

6. Cookies, analytics tools and newsletter

According to the current status, we do not use analytics tools, marketing tracking, advertising pixels or newsletter mailing on this website.

If technically necessary cookies or comparable technologies are required, they are used exclusively to provide the website and its basic functions. A cookie banner is generally not required for purely technically necessary processing.

If analytics tools, marketing technologies or a newsletter are used in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly and, where necessary, separate consent will be obtained.

7. Recipients of the data and access by the team

Access to form information is granted only to persons in the EduVox team who need this information for processing, evaluation, contact or product development.

Personal data is not disclosed to third parties for advertising purposes. External service providers, in particular hosting or technical service providers, may process data only as part of the technical provision of the website or in accordance with the legal requirements for processing on behalf of a controller.

8. Anonymous evaluations for product development and investor communication

We may evaluate feedback from the form in anonymised or aggregated form, for example regarding the number of interested parents, frequently mentioned needs or general interest in a pilot phase.

No personal individual data is disclosed to investors, partners or third parties. Any disclosure is made only in anonymised or aggregated form, so that no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons.

9. Retention period

Personal form information is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes.

Feedback and form information

Feedback and form information is generally stored for a maximum of 12 months after receipt and then deleted or anonymised, unless further contact, a pilot phase or a statutory retention obligation exists.

Pilot prospects

Data of persons who express interest in a pilot phase is stored for the duration of the preparation and implementation of the pilot phase and deleted or anonymised no later than 6 months after completion or cancellation of the pilot phase.

Anonymised evaluations may be stored for longer, provided that they no longer relate to an identifiable person.
